Define Strategy
Stage one
Many agencies traditionally rely on referral based business or grow organically. Proactive business development demands that we create the ideal target clients. The essential characteristics will include: industry sector, geographic location and size of organisation.
Once we have identified your target customers and the key decision makers within each, we will help you to create bespoke propositions tailored to their potential requirements, aligned to your strengths and experience. There are a number of ways we will then approach each prospect as part of a coordinated contact programme, this may include: telephone calling, DM, collateral, e-mailers, public relations, seminars and industry expo’s.
Upfront have played an invaluable role in the development of Silence’s business from the very beginning. They understand our market, but more importantly they make things happen.

A 12 month activity plan will maximize the impact of all communication with prospective clients to keep your agency top of mind. This will be driven through a number of campaigns that will run throughout the year, focusing our targeting, messaging and approach to new customers.
The business development strategy will set out a number of key performance indicators, including appointments set and sat, briefs and win conversion rates, which will be reviewed on a quarterly basis, together with effective pipeline management, to ensure delivery on new business targets.
